Witton Albion were todays opponents and the Blues travelled to Northwich.
The Blues made a poor start to the game going two goals down and looking decidedly uncomfortable.
The team selection was a managerial error ( asking players to play out of position ).
With the introduction of M.O.M Joe Woollam into the back four to restore some calm and Daniel Short into the midfield to add some bite the Blues pulled a goal back just before half time.
The second half saw Blues perform to their best and a screamer from skipper Marcus Johnson was the pick of the goals as Blues went on to win five goals to three.
This was a good result for the Blues with Witton having won their respective league for the past two years.
M.O.M Joe Woollam
Goals: Joe Wilde2, Joe Woollam, Kyle Goodier, Marcus Johnson
Final score Witton Albion 3 v S.J.B 5
